#1 Ban Bad People photo
- I want this photo to make you think about the dog breed you see here and just automatically the pitbull meth but then to read the sign the dog has. To read that you should come to the idea on the people who own pitbulls maybe the general stereotypes of who knows this breed and how they're treating (dog fighting & animal abuse) #2 smiling owner and pitbull - When you see these two you should feel a sense of peace and joy just like them. That not every pitbull is a violent one, they can be kind and caring just like any well taken care of dog. #3 Pitbull with Muzzle You're likely to think that this dog must be mean or violent for being on a muzzle but when in reality he might not be, his owner may think that and chooses to put the pitbull in one for believing in the myth. Majority feel when they see a pitbull is that he's violent and that he'll hurt you in some way because the media portrays their negative side so much but they don't show how the owner treats the pitbull on a daily biases and what they do to their dog. It's a cause and effect on how we act on each other and we seem to forget that with animals.
The guidance of brutality
They never failed The family The sign Two murders Managed to manipulate And not have hamilitation Both intricate investigation Never found Well know Code letters Taunting attention Cultist aura A Violent summer of love Both changing the world One crime at a time. What’s going on the world today according to BBC is “Stephen Hawking: What he predicted for the future” which interested me the most. Mainly because of how faun I am of cosmetology and geography, science bands that lead to Stephen Hawking who studied black holes in the cosmetology field. Not only that but his predicaments of our planet are worthy of hearing about because of the credibility he has gained. I want to know more about this current event because of what we can do as humans to have our planet in better shape for our future generations since we don’t want to end up like Venus with a 250 degrees average temperature and sulfuric acid when it rains.
Due to this current event it leads me to think why should creative writers stay up to date. For I conclude we should because of how we expand our creativity and thoughts about specific moments in our lives, future, and what goes on today. If we don’t we wouldn’t really have the creative part in writing it would just be writing uncreatively because the more we expose ourselves to new things and learn, the better we can write about events that makes our readers move with us, like a conversation. 1981 SHE CAME TO U.S. SOIL

First thoughts on reading it, plus what you think it means I thought when reading this poem at first that it was powerful to call out whoever hurt her in a way so peaceful yet powerful. I think it clearly means selfish like the title it has and how we shouldn’t take ourselves for granted. Favorite line(s) “The moment they sense fear, they’re already halfway out the door” “As if the human heart means that little to them” One key poetic device used in the poem Rhyme, in the pace the poem gives off kinda being quick and to the point How this poem represents what you care about/enjoy in poetry This poem represents what I care about in poems is a direct message that is peaceful and powerful at the same time. |
After Katherine's seventh birthday party all she could remember is how much she begged her parents for a pet. She sat down on a couch with her mother as she watched her novela to see if she could get some answers out of her mother while her dad was at work. She could't help but bring up her birthday wish that her mother had promised her since she was five. While Katherine was on the couch her feet tapped each other in desperation for answers.
"remember...that...promise...you...made...me?" said Katherine slowly to make sure her mother heard every word.
Her mother replied after a short pause, "I know I know, but honey you need to understand we don't have the space for one here."
"But mom! even the neighbors by our apartment have cats and dogs" said Katherine angrily into her mother's eyes. Hoping to prove her mother wrong by her argument.
"Katherine watch your tone! They don't have a family of five like we do in a one bedroom apartment, it's different" said her mother in the best calm voice she possibly could.
"I'm sorry, I just really really really want a pet, I can't help it" said Katherine softly
"It's okay Katherine, once we get a house I promise we'll get you a pet" said her mother with a warm smile while touching Katherine's hair and watching her novels.
Katherine didn't say anything after that, she turned her gloomy eyes to the TV and watched the novela with her mother. She thought to herself there that hopefully her parents would keep the promise they made to her.

It's summer in California and Katherine keeps begging her parents for a dog to have. Especially now since they moved into a nice new home that has plenty of room to have pets. Her parents ignore her request and continue on their days without acknowledging she needs a companion around.
One day her mother is visiting the neighbors and calls Katherine to come over for a special surprise she has for her. Katherine makes her way to the neighbors house that's only 2 houses away from hers. She opens the door and walks toward the backyard where she see's her mother and the neighbor chatting away. They've become so close that they just walk into each others home for anything, that her neighbor, Dona Esperanza doesn't mind at all.
"What's the surprise?", Katherine ask eagerly.
"Esperanza says you can have a bunny to keep, go pick one" say's her mother.
Katherine makes her way to the bunny cage with all the new borns inside. She has no idea which one to pick from the 20 she sees hopping around, scared of her tall figure. Katherine puts her soft child hands in the cage to see if a bunny will come forward. She doesn't pick up or force a bunny to come to her, instead she moves her finger closer to each bunny to see if they react friendly towards her. She tries this with 4 bunnies then one bunny deiced to lick her finger. She grows a smile on her face as this happens and picks the snow white bunny up. She locks the cage quickly and heads to her mother to show her that she want's this one. Her mother nods to show that's she okay with her choice as she walks out she yells, "Thank you" and hurries home.
She enters her home and makes her way to the backyard as she carries her new bunny to get comfortable with the two other bunnies at home and the ginormous backyard. She gently pushes her bunny to the grass as it tries to grab her wavy brown hair to stay with her. The bunny quickly gets along with Roxy and Paxi (the other two bunnies) and let's them hang out.
Her mother comes home and starts asking Katherine "what are you gonna name your new bunny dear?"
"I really don't know, do you have any ideas mom?" say's Katherine slowly.
"Well how about this name: Montezuma, it's an Aztec name who was a king" says her mother very proudly.
Katherine agrees and starts calling her new fluffy bunny that has fur white snow with it's light pink ears.
